History: • Built in 1881 by George & Barbara Pfau • 1906 became the 'Old Ladies Home' for Civil War Widows • 1985-1996 Haven House Homeless Shelter • 1996 Two devastating fires closed the Haven House • 1996-2002 House sat empty and in disrepair for 6 years. • April 2002: House went up for auction and purchased by the Stenbros. • 2002-2005 The House went through a massive 3 1/2 year renovation • October 2005: Market Street Inn houses its first guests as a Bed & Breakfast.
